Longer Bilstein's avaliable.
I went to a driver training course and information night run by Range-Rov and the rep from bilstein was there. You can now get shocks for Rangie and Disco 1 that are from memory, 25mm longer. Specially designed for 2" suspension lifts. Didnt get any prices, but i'll be looking at them soon.

I brought some long travel Bilstiens from Rangie spares. Bloody expensive
because you have to buy a kit that lifts your mounts 50mm(about $1800 all up). However the extra wheel travel is exceptional as the shocks are 100mm longer than standard.Just a few examples,
Open Closed Travel
Nissan GQ front 478 293 185
rear 620 390 230
Toyota 100 front 594 365 229
rear 591 380 211
Standard R/R front 548 330 218
rear 553 346 207
Mine front 648 380 268
rear 653 396 263
I'm expecting big things for my set up, maybe even enough to take down one particular Defender and regain some pride lost in the Rangie camp.(Yes Maggot, I'm talking about you ) By the way, do you have a locker in that beast of yours, I believe there was only one wheel spinning?
bring it on
Chris
