CAVET EMPOR to do with that supplier :x
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has fitted on of these kits to there car, they seem pretty much the same as the AMV kit but at less then half the price ($299 supplied)
http://www.discoveryauto.com.au/diff%20lock.htm
Only thing i have noticed is they quote on 6 hours labour to install them in there workshop when i asked about this they said they remove the transfer case to install it??? I know the AMV kit doesnt need the transfer case removed to install and im wondering if anyone has installed this kit and weather or not it can be done without removing the transfer case?

They quoted me $375 each end to change the oil seals on the front axle of my last vehicle, a 300 Tdi Discovery! I did it myself in around 2.5 hrs each and maybe $60 total for seals.
Also gave me a load of bull about needing a new turbo because of the black fuel smoke on start up! Just inspection cost would be around $900!
Be vary wary of anything to do with them, buy parts from Rovacraft or Rovertech and get good advice from Kevin at Rovertech.
Also Russel Booth at ARB at Osborne Park will help whenever he can with advice and he knows what he's talking about.
Caveat emptor doesn't quite fit the bill with that lot!
