    Defender 110 side steps

    G'day all,

My side steps finally rusted through so I had to take them off. With the 'leader of the position' (aka Wife) being rather short and a 5 year old girl (don't care about the boys) it's not that easy for them to get in and out.

I was wondering what would be a good replacement.

With regards to something like the terrafirma rocksliders, they do have a step, but the step is rather high.

They don't seem that hard to build with a 100 x 75 square and a tree protector tube at the bottom similar to the terrafirma, the difference being the tree protector \ step is much lower.

Any thought and or pics on what has worked for you would be great.

Budget up to $700 for new and lots less if I build it myself.....

    thanks all

    J

I have my steps for sale, Bondi location.

Going cheap, still good I just went for sliders. I did it while the vertically challenged girlfriend was overseas, so want to sell them quickly before she gets too annoyed with the sliders and asks I put them back on!
