    Provent or Aftermarket Copy?

Has anyone had any experience with a "non genuine" provent? Good/Bad???

There are dozens floating around eBay, at aprox half the price, from the included photos they seem to be very VERY similar in their operation, even the internal filter seems a direct copy.

I understand that the Genune Provent is supposed to be the Ducks Testiculars, perhaps the non genuine could be as good?

It only seperated oil/air, how hard could that be?

Seems to me that it's going to be a similar argument as cheap versus good oil/air filters etc. The genuine MANN stuff is seriously good kit, but I imagine that any catch can is better than none at all.

Roo Systems are doing one too. (FYI only. I am not endorsing, nor am I in any way connected with Roo Systems)
