2" and ACE is not a problem. Lots have done this withouth drama.
BD Chip and ACE are also not related AFAIK. The ACE computer picks up from the SLABS computer for speed readings.
Seeing we are moving to the Fraser Coast next month, we hope to be doing some more touring, so we are on the lookout for a TD5 Disco II Auto.
What I want to know is, if you do a 2" lift to them and they run ACE, is there any problems you encounter? I know you need to relocate the airbag height sensor, but is there any other probs?
Also, I was reading that if you chip them (ala Bruce Davis) you need to get the ACE sensor re-calibrated, do they do this at the time they chip them or is it not really needed?

Hi Maggot
I was wondering the same as I want to do the same.
I had a pretty good look under mine last weekend, the ACE all seems to work on the lower part of the suspension so it doesnt look like the body going a bit higher on the springs will affect how its setup.
I was reading the owners manual the otherday, there is another benefit of the ACE that you wouldnt have expected. In their words at lower speeds the sway bars are in effect disconnected alowing for further axle articulation in off road situations.
