300tdi salisbury diff cover brake line holder

    hi all,

When I was refitting my salisbury diff cover to the rear of my 110 defender, there was a small flat piece of metal that one of the diff cover bolts screwed through. At the end of this small piece of metal was a small hole with what looks to be a plastic clip that holds the brake line away from the diff.

In my googling around I haven't seen any other setups with this holder. Is this a left-over from factory? Can someone please take a photo of their rear salisbury diff (preferrably from a 300tdi 110 Station Wagon) so I can have a squiz and see which bolt this bracket with its holder should go in because the plastic bit fell out when I was removing the diff cover and I'm sure I put the metal holder back in the correct bolt hole but now the plastic doesn't push through as it is too close to the diff housing.

I just took a photo but now on re reading think I may have missed your question. On my 95 130 fender the set up is likely been changed over time! I just have a three way Union bolted to a bracket off the diff housing. Hard lines bend all over the place. No plastic clips I can see ?

Yeah it's a plastic clip to the hard line and on the photo's I've seen around the net I can't see a similar arrangement.. I'm wondering if most times it's removed or forgotten about.
