Bio diesel for diesels but any thig for petrol engines?

It looks like Bio Diesel is a viable alternative to normal diesel ( I wish I had one) does any one know if there is any sort of alternative for petrol engines?

Petrol is a lot more highly refined than Diesel. It would be great to make it in the back yard out of vegitable scraps though. The vat can sit right next to the beer brewing barrel.
