Disco SI body lifts
Has any one done a body lift on their Disco? Are the any pitfalls to look out for etc.
Also has anyone heard of quick disconnects for sway bars for Disco's?
I am thinking about doing it to fit larger tyres and also improve wheel articulation at the same time, I scrub out at the moment with 275-75-16 BF Goodrich All Terrains

My series one has a body lift on it, it was there when i bought the car. the spacers are 50mm so i would assume this to have given a 50mm lift. i can't see any problems with this setup, and nothing obvious comes up. now i am looking at getting better springs as the current Old Man Emu stuff isn't very good at all. i have got 31" 10.5 R15's fitted and they don't scrub normally but last weekend i bent the rear wing panel at the bottom of the wheel arch when i had it stuck at full articulation. also beware of genuine land rover side steps as the brackets on these are very weak and bend if you have the cars weight on them, ie when you go over the top of a mound of earth.
