Thread: rust

For removing rust from smaller items that can be removed completely, try this technique which I have shown on my website:

I did a long range fuel tank in the same way - you can see where the tank only submerged halfway into the solution.



You can also see that the tank is so clean it has started to rust almost immediately after the solution was washed off.

Definately going to give this is a go, the stuff I use only turns the rust black & supposedly back to steel, although last a very long time if done correctly.

I have heard of this method before but could not remember the formular, an old rabbit trapper told me an eon ago, thanks Ron.
