    hybrid thoughts

    Howdy,
    I am now the proud owner of a mechanically a1 SI disco now incorrectly shaped [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img] . Considering a hybrid project as opposed to almost full rebuild.

    Anyone got any views or experience?

    how damaged is the Disco? if its the rear, why not build a ute?

    Sorry to be a hog, but I think I like the ute/softtop idea. With some D1 front seats that flip fwd and a roll cage and some motor trimming I could be back in business? Saw an add for one of those dakkar things which got methinking but the bank statement came today and cheap is good at this stage. I'm still open to any futher advice or suggestions.
