GEARBOX MT82 PUMA TDCI Big mistake oil change

    Hello,

I made a mistake by refilling oil in the gearbox.
I drained the oil and refilled it (with Castrol Syntrax 75W90 2,2 liters) but used the wrong filler cap. The fillercap I used is the one on the right side above the correct filler cap. Any help on how to solve my mistake. Can I drain the oil.
    Thank for your help !

Seems to be a cause of common confusion.

    Undo the correct filler cap!

    You'll need a tray (underneath)

    Hi Tombie,

    Thanks.
I drained the oil. Refilled it by removing the correct filler cap.
Had 2.0 liters coming out draining the oil.
Is was the same amount (2,0 liters) when draining the old oil on first drain.
Refilled it with extra 200 ml = 2,4 liters.
    Hope that will be ok

I assume that you started with a dry oil tray? Because this one is wet.

I think you may need to post a photo of what access
You used to get more accurate advice.

And it's only an oil change, it's not a challenge to a fight to the death!

    I'm still stuck on the 2.0L + 0.2L = 2.4L part.
