Thread: Holden - S3 conversion kit using LR flywheel?

Evenin' All, I just spotted a Holden six cylinder to Series 3 conversion kit for sale, this one uses an adaptor to bolt the Land Rover flywheel to the holden motor and then uses the landy starter. Anyone have any experience with these? Seems reasonable to use the heavier flywheel etc. Any of the boffins among us care to comment on whether it would be reliable?

Not familiar with it, but there is no reason why it should not be reliable if done properly. Personally I am not in favour of Holden engine conversions, but that is just my view.
