Very true. But I think a lot of the glare from large street signs is a fault of the signs themselves. Driving from Brisbane to Adelaide, cutting over through Walgett and Bourke, where there are no other lights, the signs are blinding. I was driving a Scania with standard H7 headlights and 100w Hi1 spotties above the screen, and no other lights at all, and I would have to dip to avoid being dazzled.
My lights on this car are not ever going to be used out there. They are for tracks in the High country. Not many signs out there.
I tried them last night an a little road near me, and they are fabulous for what I need them for, so I think I'll leave this discussion for you guys.
