Front end upgrade.

					Yo,
My right hand CV joint in the PIG (84 Rangie) is starting to make some horrible noises and is probably about ready to go. I've still got the 10 spline front end and am running 35 ET's. I'm assuming axles will be twisted upon stripping it down.
Question: Is there any difficulty in swapping to a later 24 spline diff assembly, say from a Disco or late Rangie, or is it just a straight swap?
Are the CV's in the later assemblies stronger than the early ones or just the same thing?
I will eventually put a locker and after market axles in but cant afford it at the moment so instead of just patching it up with a new CV I thought at least something a little stronger for the time being will do.
Any thoughts guys?
