I think I would get a lot of trouble over here if I would eleminate the mufflers from underbody my 300 tdi Range. Sound might be a different thing.

Would there be any afford to leave them on a custom made 3" exhaust? What is the main reason for the increase in power and torque? Bigger diameter of the pipe, no mufflers or the changes to the breathing components?

That would be great Hiline - what's the point of having a V8 if I can't hear it RUMBLE!!!! :twisted:

So just a 3in exhaust no mufflers all the way from the turbo is that it ?

1 other thing, is it mega noisy ? Like can you deal with it on a 1000k trip ?

mine just has a bit of a "rasp" about 1500-2000 rpm when accelerating.

but on the freeway - wouldn't even notice
