Mods for 99 Range Rover

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone suggest mods I can do to my Range Rover or Accessories that are worthwhile ie. Snorkel and where to find it?

The only thing I have done so far is replace the standard Air Filter with a K & N which has resulted with better fuel consumption.

I have been on the lookout for aftermarket bullbars that have Qld Transport Approval but they don't seem to exist.

Have also considered Maxi-Drive lockers.

I would greatly appreciate your input.

If you can let us know how you intend to use the car, it would help with the suggestions.

I would suggest a snorkle for a P38A would need to be custom made, as would most propper off road acc, however I have seen ARB Sarhara bars fitted to P38's.

I was hoping to create a good all rounder, something that's capable of going almost anywhere.

* Steep Climbs * Water Crossings * Loose Rock

Accessories that I feel would be priority are:

Snorkel, Locker, Rock Sliders/Sidesteps, Steel/Aluminium Bullbar, Mud Terrain Tyres, Suspension Upgrade.

Re bull bar, have a look at Hardy Neale's bar he has on his P38A (Hardy lives in Brisbane). I have one of his early bars on my P38A (mine's the white RR in the link below):.

What would you guys recommend - Maxi- Drives or ARB Air Lockers. I was Speaking to Rick form Ricks 4WD on the Gold Coast and he was telling me the Maxi-Drives are they way to go cos they are stronger.

Have you had any experience with this???

Re the ARB Sahara bars fitted to P38A, I'd love to see pix. They must have been adapted from something else - I suspect a Disco bar.
