    Water Pump Tool

Does anyone know where I can get a water pump tool, not the 36mm spanner but the pulley holder or an alternate? Cant find one in Australia. Having issue getting the fan to let go. Never had one so hard and cant seem to lock the pulley to get the fan to release.
    Cheers

i use a chain wrench or filter strap.

if you use a chain wrench wrap the pully in a section of belt.

Will try again this morning, usually not this hard, but what I did notice was that one of the previous owners has used blue gasket goo on the pump?? Not sure if he has attempted to force some in to stop a leak or used it instead of a gasket but very clear now this is where it is leaking. Hoping it is just in place of a gasket and not a gouge in the timing cover.

You hit the 36mm wrench CW with a rubber hammer or your hand to release, right?

Copper hammer, would not even look like moving with hand.
