HELP!!!

Was heading out from work today, had to load up a few things to drop to one of my kitchen installers. I backed the disco up to the roller door, got out and went around to the back door, looked at the key in my hand and found that only half of it was there 8O
[size=18]Can anyone tell me how to get the other half out of the ignition please :?:

To make light of a dark situation an automotive locksmith once described how a Land Rover was built:

"They start with the barrel and, attached to a long piece of string suspended from an overhead rafter at the right height from the floor, they build the rest of the Land Rover around it." 8O

Good luck mate

Get two pins or very small nails and bend the ends slightly. Not much only about 1mm or so. Slide pins between top and bottom of the key & barrel so pins are on the sides of the key. Hook the pins on one of the steps of the key and pull gently. It will have some resistance as the lock pins will have pressure on the key, but it should come out easily.

Cheers,
