    Anyone reccomend a muffler place that's reasonablely priced

    Just noticed that my rear muffler is rattling, weld around pipe coming adrift.
    96 disco 3.9 V8.
    Around $500 supply only is a bit rich, any one had a deal on one in the SE of Melb? :?:

    As far as I know, its just a resonator on the rear- had mine replaced with one used for 3.9 disos- $100 fitted, with chrome exhaust tip. Think any exhaust shop should be able to do this..

    Yes please, mate.

    All I really need is the resonator at the end. Maybe as ChamonixVogue90 said, may be able to make me up the end.
    Off course it depends on my main muffler being ok.

    Thanks for the info on Ferndale exhaust Hiline .
    Called into today.
    He Ordered a resonator in and a couple of hours later I went back and he modified and fitted it
    He's a Top Bloke!.
    Made me up a new resonator and all up only $80.
