    RIM STUD HOLES

    Hi, I heard that D1 and D2 stud hole are not the same ,? and if so why?
    just want to no as I want to buy some LR alloys rims later down the track ,so I keep the standed for 4x4 work , and if there are how do I tell what I'm buying.... (driving 95 tdi 7 seater/twin sunroofs) cheers4now Alex from mornington

    Hi Alex
    You need the previous to '99 Disco/Defender/Rangie rims.On the Disco2/P38 Rangie the stud pattern is much smaller,once you look at the nuts on a disco2 you will spot the difference.

    As far as I am aware there are only 2 sizes ... 125mm PCD and 165mm PCD. The difference is quite obvious, given the 40mm so it should not be hard to pick what's right.
