Thread: water leak td5

mine does not have this metal pipe going behind head???? is this an auto thing and mine is a manual??? I have a rubber blanking hose thingie, which let go for the second time yesterday in the middle of nowhere causing some problems. I was just wondering where this hose would go if it went anywhere?

Changed mine yesterday.
The large outlet is on the oil cooler, the pipe runs behind head(bolted to bell housing) and joins to another hose to the radiator.

Use a Ford Falcon water pump/heater hose and cut to suit.(Thanks to Ray at Romsey L/R for this one)

Burson p/n CH300, Under $10 plus clamps.

Just did mine, cut about 25mm of large end and cut outher to suit. It'l make sense when you see it.
Had to pull 1 bolt from bell housing to get it on.
Position of the smaller clamp is important as mine looked like it may cut the hose when I first did it up.

Had more room on mine to do it as head off
