    Td5 fuel pressure Hose Removal

I am sure my question only relates to post 03 Td5's. In my case a Disco, but could also apply to Defender, hence my reason for posting here and not D2 forum.

A while back I changed my fuel pressure regulator. There is a fuel return hose that runs along the side of the engine from the front of the head back to the FPR.

The FPR came with a new hose which I did not replace at the time, as removing it from the head looks to be near impossible without either some special tools or removing inlet manifold.

Sooner or later I will have to change this hose. Anyone done it?

Is there a tool available or does the inlet manifold have to be removed?

I had an unsuccessful crack at making a tool. I also nearly cut off half my little finger when the grinder slipped.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I removed the battery / ecu box etc and could easily undo the hose in question at the front of the block using a standard open ended spanner.
