What it's worth .. can't help.
But m,y curiosity got the better of me here.
When i was about 10-ish yo, I remember a trip to Hawthorn(Melb suburb), dad went to haggle for one for his SIIa. I remember the bloke telling him $200(maybe .. I was 10 afterall) and was fascinated by it .. the gears and stuff.

So I had to google it ..

There's a facebook page called(I think) LR Optional Equipment, and fellover at the price for a fully recoed one.
I suppose if your going to spend up so much on a nice resto on a series vehicle, then 1,749 Pounds! for a period piece of optional equipment ain't so bad really.
But that 1749 pounds gets you a Fairey, WFL(??) stamped winch to suit a RRC. He also has a Aeroparts Eng capstan for 1400 pounds too.
