Clutch forks - cast and pressed interchangeability

I've searched but can't find a definite answer....

Need to do the clutch in my 300tdi/R380 130. I'm sure the clutch fork is going to be stuffed and will need replacement.

I definitely have here a number of cast clutch forks from Counties. Combination of V8 and Isuzu and LT95 and LT85 gearboxes.
I don't have any pressed ones to compare.

From what I can work out it looks like there are is only one type of cast fork right through from SIII to Td5 era including all the V8's, and that the cast fork is physically interchangeable with the pressed ones on the 300tdi - and can be used as an upgrade.

If that's correct then I'll just grab new clips/bushes for one of the cast ones here and fit it.

    Can anyone confirm?

Roverlord is right of course.. but if you have a spare cast one, like when you do a VM or V8 to tdi conversion, you can cut the spikes and turn them round, then weld them on. Main thing is the result is flat.
