    freelander engine number help

    Hi
    have to put the 2002 freelander V6 over the pits, having trouble finding the engine number.
    apparently it is on rear flywheel end of the motor but there is a heap of machinery on there.
    is there an easier way than dismantling the engine at the checking station?
