    Unfortunetly uou cant bypass it due to a lack of space because you have 2 solid pipes that come directly through the firewall into the heater. you would need to remove the entire airconditioning unit to make the room to bypass the heater core.

    Mate its dead easy pull both pipes off on the engine side of the fire wall an join em togeather.........................

    Hey presto no leak in the heater core

    at the risk of causing costly engine damage its cheeper to pay the mechanic $700 to remove the dash and hearter/aircon unit and replace the 2 orings that i purchased from Landrover for $4 :roll:
