MR Automotive at Redcliffe are LandRover specialists.A number of people on this forum use them, and I can vouch that their parts are much cheaper than buying through LR.

I have purchased a 2000 TD5 Auto Disco. (Luckily?) I am mechanically minded and am about to purchase the Disco2 Rave CD.
Now I need someone (Land Rover knowledgeable/reliable) to service it. Are there any recomendations of who to use (or more importantly, NOT to use) in the Brisbane area?
I would also like to (or wish I could) upgrade the ECU, remove the middle muffler, fit a bigger intercooler, fit a second battery and install the early model CDL lever.
Is there a Bruce Davis equivelent in the Brisbane area?
Is there a Land Rover wrecker where I can pick up a transfer lever (as well as other bits I may need over time)?
Look forward to getting it dirty and sandy, as it is the first 4x4 I have owned!

British Off Road, Buderim, Sunshine Coast. It's worth the drive from Brissie! They are simply excellent and in their back yard there are plenty of vehicles to be wrecked so I reckon you'll find what you are looking for.

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
On the subject of LR specialists in Brisbane.....
Does anyone know of any places that are a bit closer to the city.....Redcliffe, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast are a bit of a hike to take your car to serviced.??
Does anyone know anything about Techno British..?? Are they any good, any experiences.???
They are in Moorooka, which is a bit more central.

However, my mate uses them, and they seem good, so I'll keep using them.![]()

I go to Kedron Rover Tech - Rode Rd Chermside.
The guys there know their Rovers and have all the diagnostic gear.
Very reasonably priced and quite objective about what needs to be done and what doesn't need to be done.
