    TD5 fuel hose

    Hey everyone,

Is this the main fuel hose to the head?

****ing thing is ****ing diesel all over the countryside and I don't have my tools with me.
    Long story.

    I'm a little bit angry.....

Yes. It's about to fail. Some people have removed it and put on high pressure fuel line and a couple of clamps. The line is most probably also brittle so change it asap.

    Yep.
HP fuel hose and try push it over the "roll" in the tube.
Hose clamps will hold ok then.
You wanna save the swearing for if you have to remove the fitting from the headTD5 fuel hose

    Cheers fella's.

It's spraying from the crimp, and it's damned tight for space in there.
I took one look at that front fitting Mark and thought hmm, alternator off, inlet manifold off, ****....

Still 5.5 hours from 'home', might see if I can find a Repco open in the morning, grab some hose and see if the cheap side cutters I have can get the crimp off.
    Wish me luck.

So is it actually possible to cut the crimp in situ ?

Looks a bit too tight to get side cutters in there ?
Off to Super Crap to get some hose, it's losing miles too much diesel.
Bloody dangerous for everyone and i'll get booked.

Just jammed rags around it to get to the parts store, but it's a geyser.

Hmm, better check what mine looks like. Don't want it to fail in the middle of nowhere.
