Thread: td5 injector codes read wrong on nanocom ??????

2000 td5 5speed.

All recently changed injector seals and when doing so took photos of injectors in situ and changed seals one at a time. So no hope of stuffing them up. One thing I did note was that when I connected my nanocom at the finish of the job the injector codes shown on the nanocom do not in any way match what is in the car. The vehicle starts and appears to run fine. Not registered yet so cant do a big road run. The ecu shows a TRS engraving and the person i bought the car off said it was mapped ecu. Now should i try to change the injectors numbers to match the vehicle in the ecu to match or would it be locked. Should I leave well enough alone. At work at the moment but can provide any further info to help tomorrow..Baz

Yep change the numbers to your injectors, it'll run a bit smoother.
