Your KMs are low, but keep in mind regardless of KMs the car is still 15 years old. Basically I'd be looking at the rubber items as a priority, water pumps and the like are cheap insurance, much more comfortable to do at home than on the trails. Cooling system would be my priority, along with the idlers as rick said

Yep, stuck me up in the Flinders Ranges 3 weeks ago.
Gave all the indications of a polling starter motor or dud battery.

When I mentioned it on the forum everyone said "oh that's really common..."
    IIRC it's a 6303 bearing ??

In four weeks of D2/TD5 driving I've had the idler pulley bearing seize, (glad i Had the HF radio in for that one) the t/case jump out of high range, the housing on the back of the water pump is leaking, the fuel hose under the inlet manifold feeding the head let go and did an Exxon Valdez down the east coast, the parking brake rattle raised it's noisy head at the same time and now the fuel cooler is leaking coolant, oh, and I found the harness full of oil at the ECU when trying to diagnose why the errors on the Nanocom and why the car wouldn't start in the Flinders.

I'm ignoring Pedro until I can think of a decent comeback !
