Fuel Starvation 93 RR
Dear All - I have a 2003 RR - a few years ago I took it to a 'RR workshop' to replace the fuel tank, which had developed a leak. They replaced it, and after that I had 'starvation' problems - driving along, then all of a sudden motor would cut-out, just like it has run out of fuel. After a few minutes it would start. Given that this same workshop did other work which was sub-standard (like towbar bolted back on finger-tight) my guess is the fuel pick-up wasn't relocated properly in the tank, so fuel up-take is erratic. Any ideas?
