you will definitely need a slide for that.....
it would hit the roof if you tried to open it whilst in the car.....</span>
Hi All
We have the 2 zone addon for our Engel found it works well but does require more power we used it at first without a slide and were able to open it ok.Now we have a slide and it will be much easier for Kaye to use.

Doug

Outback roller drawer, with extra items like lights and umbrellas down the gap on the drivers side.

This is my setup. The drawers are all steel - (drawer & frame) cut & folded by a cnc-controlled system. It rides on four roller bearing drawer runners. Sitting in front of the drawer behind the cargo barrier and under the drawer's top deck is an 80-littre stainless water tank designed by a good mate of mine and built by Out of Town 4WD in Newcastle. It's filled through the side window (second photo). The tap is mounted to the rear bumper. On top of the drawers is a steel shelving system which takes plastic boxes on the left (built to accommodate the boxes without bouncing around). In the middle is a fridge slide for the trusty Engel or EvaKool. To the right is an area for larger space cases or jerries. It's all pretty solid.

crump may i ask the cost to build them and what sort of slide for the draw
https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Hard to say as I had the aluminium tubing laying around, but the connectors came to $30, Carpet was $50, Timber was $80 and the draw runner was $100, its a Hafle job, can PM you details if your interested. Its the same set up as Greylandys (except his is a tidier job), just added a storage box on the passenger side for kitchen stuff. I used to buy a lot of tube off Capral, be flat being $150 worth in it.Quote:
