    Prodigy...the best you can get.

Easy to use and set up, 3 boost setting 8O 8O 8O sorry it's not what you think....all it does it steps up the brakes so they come on harder. You can have the van all locked up but the car brakes are hardly on. The idea is that for 60kph you will have it on say boost 1. When you hit the highway, for 110kph you have the stting on B2 or B3 if you are carrying a lot of weight. It's a fantastic machine, works everytime.

    Whats the hot wire for?
    Cheers,
    Lyndon.

i think the hot wire is for charging the battery

in the van while your travelling or it could be to run the fridge while your driving

to tell you the truth, i have no idea 8O ops:

Ok, I thought so......when you get your fully qualified electrician to wire the Prodigy in, you will have to have a power source that comes from the vehicle battery. This should have a 20amp circuit breaker on it to stop anything untoward happening. The position for this is as close to the battery as possible. So you will have a power lead going all the way down to the back to your plug. Some guys run it through the 7 pin but others set up a separate positive & negative using an Anderson plug. This setup ensures that a full charge or power is going direct to the camper battery or the fridge.

I need to check the prodigy instructions for wiring diagrams..but I had mine done by an auto elec. I have not had a problem with it yet.

    Cheers,
    Lyndon.

Sorry Hiline....I did not need to confirm that you had no idea ops: ops: ops:

I purchased my van at Jayco Bayswater. The deal included to installation of the Prodigy. The auto elec was a guy off Mountain Hwy. just after Dorset road. I think it has the secord street on the left. You go down all the way to the bottom and in the factory estate there is the auto elec. I think it was Boronia Auto Elects. He was very good, he gave me what I wanted with my pettiness/perfection. I saw him twice with my requirements just to make sure he understood
