Could it be something simple like the battery in the remote? Have you tried another remote?

    G'day Sith,

Have you got a copy of the Rave manual for the Rangie?... that has 174 pages on the electrics!!

I am no Rangie expert at all... but the following is from the Rave manual on the Rangie Classic -95

    Central Locking Control Unit
    (Z113) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . behind RH side of fascia on bracket

    it says it connects to:

Satellite Fuse Box 1 (P127) . . behind LH side of fascia on Fascia Fuse Box . . . .

I cannot see mention of a relay - but I guess there will be one somewhere. I would check all the plug connectors to the above.

There is a 15A fuse in that fuse box that the central locking runs off.

Other things in the same fuse box include the power washers, fuel pump relay and ignition coil - so I guess if there was a supply problem to that fuse box you would have noticed it 8O

Let me know if I can supply more detail if you can't get your hands on a Rave CD.... I think Inc. sells them here in the emporium...

    Cheers, Mark

If the door servos are the same as Disco 1s - look at the servos - they can all burn out at once - the plastic inside melts. However Dick Smith specials work as a replacement as long as the Dick Smith controller is used.
