spongy brakes
Just wondering what might be causing "spongy brakes", now this only happens the first or second time you apply the brakes after you have started the engine ?
New discs and pads have been fitted in the last 6 months, not sure how long the brakes have been spongy for !

R U loosing fluid slowly. so that whilst your brakes are not being used for some time, such as overnight you have lost pressure and possibly let air in the line.
If it is a very slow leak, or one that occurs only when the car is off then this may be causing your problem.
When using the brakes frequently you will not notice the very small amounts of fluid you may be loosing between each tim eyuou apply the brakes. its only when you have lost a reasonable amount of fluid that you may notice

I haven't had to top the brake fuild up for a very long time, and check it fortnightly.
Can't remember when the brake fuild was last change though or bleed ! I believe it was done at the last major service, but who knows if it was done !!!
Will have a closer look again tonight.
