hey
there was a post about this earlier, the felt for the top slides for the windows on both sides fell out about six months ago, after having enough of the windows rattling (considering a did 6800k in the outback with them rattling) i though i would source some new stuff, from memory it was quoted here that the orginal felt mega expensive.
yesterday i picked up 3 meters of Bailey Channel V Small which is rubber backed felt to install, it look the goods will hopefully install it tonight and hopefully the rattles will be gone, hopefully i can get it in with out removing the windows
cost $4.25 / m
i brought mine from
The Rubber Shop

umm
inc, nice tight fit a first than she slid in and out just nicely
piece and quite in the fender at last, well quiter than it used to be, it takes a bit of effort to slide the window at the moment but i'm sure it will free up the more it is used. there was no way i could slide the felt the full length withthe window in so i did it in two sections so there is a gap where the window overlaps between fully open and fully closed
why didn't i do this six months ago
bump
