Was that the ST Maxx or a different model of Cooper? As I understand the ST Maxx were q completely different kettle of fish to older models like the ST and the ATR, but I suppose even the ST Maxx is an old design now, surely they're due soon for a reboot!

I'm currently running a set of Goodride ATs
Quiet on road, seem to grip ok on rocks, dirt & gravel. Wearing ok so far (only had them on for about 8 months). They're P rated, so you have to pick your lines to look after the sidewalls.
Fitted & balanced, including disposals, $235 each.
Have you looked at Tyresales.com.au - you buy the tyres online, and they have them sent to the fitter in your area.

It's definitely one tyre I'm considering to replace the old P spec tyres on the Disco.

Toyo's used to be right up there on my radar but I've seen quite a few in the last few years that have gone eggy, which I found surprising, including the five that used to reside on the Disco before I owned it.
I know the driver very well, and I know how carefully it was driven.

The Duratracs used to be on my radar too, I just thought they had weaker side walls compared to lots of other top shelf ATs or is that dependent on the load rating?

I have been drinking Coopers for for over 45 years.

I've never had a blowout or a flat one.

They have a range and a budget to suit every user and some of then keep longer than 5 years.

If you haven't tried Coopers before I highly recommend the brand.

Well just got a much more sensible quote from a Tyrepower for some tyres:

BFG KO2 @ $330 each

ST MAXX @ $325 each

Duratrac @ $329 each

245/75/16 all fitted and balanced

They're much better prices in my book!
