Speaking of spare wheel carriers who makes them for p38?

I saw a blue Range rover 2 with a spare wheel carrier in Brisbane with the factory bumper any idea who makes them? And who makes steel bullbars for them also?

Gathering thoughts before moding. This is going to hurt the bank managers feelings!

Sounds like HArdy Neale's carrier - see pix at http://rangerovers.net/outfitting/bumpers/...ump.html#kaymar

Mine is the white RR with the Kaymar bar in the pix (for sale for $1700).

Re a bull bar, Hardy also has these made up. See http://rangerovers.net/outfitting/bumpers/...aussiebump.html

Mine is the white RR - that bar is for sale, too, for $400 - or both for $2,000

Thanks Ron, does Hardy Neale have a workshop? Where is he based and how much does he sell the bars for new? The third gen bull bar looks pretty good.

Hardy has the bars made up for him by a Qld bar manufacturer.

I think Hardy is in the furniture business (but I'm not sure). He's in Brissy.

You can contact him by clicking on his name on the http://rangerovers.net/outfitting/bumpers/...aussiebump.html page.

    Hi Charlie,

Yep - can organise a new front bar for you - Gen III style, 10mm Aluminium - VERY STRONG
It's my design but made by a specialist in order to gain SRS compliance. $1450 fitted - Black, Silver or Polished. Exxy price, but cannot be compared with anything else because:
    a) nothing else available to compare to.
absolutely custom, over-engineered work of art.

    Tyre Carriers:
    Have my original one available.
It's pretty basic and works okay around town.
Needs an additional bracket (bumper to chassis) to stand up to proper abuse off road. $100.

Ron's is an original Kaymar - Rear Bar and Carrier.
Very strong, practical and seriously worth considering as they're no longer made.

I have VW Trakka Carrier I'd like to convert but want to incorporate this with a proper tube style rear bar. Unfortunately, everything else in life other than the car comes first!

If I can help out, give me a call 0418 75 3131 (I'm in West End)

    Thanks Hardy,

sounds a bit exy at the moment will have to wait untill later in the development to go that road. I saw your RR in the rover pages and like your ideas on lifting it. Could I send you some questions via email or call you about them?

    You are too kind Ron.

Actually I couldn't initially work out how to gain access to the forum - had another go last night and it worked!
Must say I'm pretty impressed by the forums content & popularity.

    Regards,
    Hardy
