I have just fitted a SAAS combination Boost/ EGT gauge in Maselai with its 200TDI but a 300 TDI manifold. I put the sender in the blanking plate pre turbo. Have not got proper readings yet but going to Nambour today and will get some. At idle after a run it takes ages to get down to 200 C wheras in the Isuzu I have an Auber it drops to 200 really fast. I was told somewhere to idle to 200 before shutdown but I havnt been doing this with the 200.
Unless my gauge is faulty or my sender in the wrong place.
