WHY CRUISER DIFFS
I wouldnt of thought they were any stronger than a stock rover diff, even weaker???.Thier LSD centres are crap, the clutches arent much good.
If one was to do this sureley Nissan diffs would be mutch better/stronger,at least their LSD centres actually work.
10/10 for being different.

No, still constant 4x4, just will have the hubs locked all the time. But it is a good safety measure for parking it in town, un lock the hubs and there will be no drive.

They have twin air lockers so that avoids the LSD problem. The rear diff is much stronger than a Rover diff, and the front is better as well. My Nissan diffs will go into my comp Rangie.
Looks good maggot, there is just something about having cruiser diffs in a rangie that rubs me up the wrong way. Will the wheel track be wider or narrower? matt

Does the front axle have CV's or uni's? I thought most part time 4x4's had uni's. If not CV's you are going to get some funny steering wobble around corners.
