D2 A/con...water water everywhere!!!

Think I must have a blocked drain hole or something.... just the s##t scared out of me as boiling water went ont Mrs Wardy's right foot as we went around a corner. Had a look and there's water virtually running from the heater vents. Carpets soaked.

HELP PLEASE

Sounds alot more serious than a blocked drain.
Does it smell or look like coolant????

def was hot, and is water... no smell either, no sign of any drop in coolant level or changes in engine temp. I'm guessing that water running off the condenser could be hot...... but i'm no fridgo. might have a quick chat to sclarke as he is one of those creatures.

Hi Wardy
Has yours got climate control???
The heater is used to increase the air temp of the aircon to the set temp level,so its possible it is condensation thats come in contact with the heater core.
The drains underneath the vehicle come down the sides of the gearbox.

thanks everyone. With a little help form Sclarke, it was established that the hot water was due to the climate control..... and i have now found the blocked drain and so....... all i ned to do now is get the carpet dry..... thanks again to all
