    muffler fell off

well that what i told the wife

after visiting tjm on sat i drove past a exhaust shop so i stopped in and asked how much to pull the muffler out and replaced with pipe, he breifly tried to sell me a straight through exhaust so that i wouldnt hear too much exhaust noise along the pipe in the cab, he had no luck and charged me fifty dollars to replace the exhaust.

with the motor tweeked and now no exhaust i reckon i can notice a small change, a little bit better taking off in first and at a round about near home i normally have to drop to second gear, tried it in third today and it seemed to pick up revs a little quicker. it is a little noiser at idle but when underway no differance in noise level

i have never stod behind the fender to hear the exhaust note as its taking off prior to the removal, i cannot hear any change in note from the drivers seat

well the fifty bucks is spent and although hard notice any change i'm sure there is a little improvement as she is breathing that little bit better

megs still cannot work out how an exhaust can just fall off

that would be them, i couldn't remember there name had to go to the fender and look at the invoice

couldn't believe how many guys they had on, nobody seemed to have been pre booked, just drop in. one just got off the hoist when i arrived so they drove mine straight on and within five minutes three other cars were lined up, everybody happy to wait.

it should rain more offen, i would not have got it done if i didn't get the kids out of megs's hair for a couple of hours
