Transfer case output seal leaking after fix!

I neede a roadworhty after buying my p38 in NSW and bringing it to Queensland. The output seal on the transfer case was supposed to be fixed by the dealer in Sydney. It was leaking when I got back to Bris. so told them I was going to get it done here. Got it done and it failed roadworhty today as it is still leaking.

Firstly I would like to know if anybody has had this done and if it leaked straight away? What would cause it to do this?

What do you think the cost would be to do this job?

Is it not the seal or could the casing be cutting the seal or warped or something.

Any help appreciated as I am taking it back to get rectified.

    couple of things:

Pinion flange may have grooves in it (allows oil to leak out) fit speedy sleev or replace.

When the seal was replaced they used a pick type divice or screw driver and gouged the housing, ( fill with quick metal and refit new seal.

Final posibility is they stuffed the seal on fitting.

I would go to another roadworthy place. Its bullsh1t when you are going to own the car to pick on an oil leak. Are you sure its not old oil?how can they be sure?

Go to another place for the roadworthy and take your dog with you.
When the dude questions the leak tell him its not a leak its dog ****.
He's not going to wipe it with his finger to prove you wrong, is he???

Thanks guys somewhat amusing. To let you know though I think it might be residuel oil from when it was leaking into the hand brake area. Why didn't the roadworthy guy think of that? Hope its not any of the other things though.
