go with the paranoid thought! that little amount of ULP shouldnt
worrie the engine or injectors.
all it should do will increase the combustion chamber temps.

dont think theres anything to freak out about.

2.5% unleaded in your diesel will make no detectable difference to anything. Probably less than the difference between batches of diesel.

Hi dages, that little bit of petrol should be no problem at all on the motor, it’s the fuel pump that would be the first to suffer if there was a problem and when you consider that in some Northern European countries, they run as much as 25% petrol mix in their diesel during winter.

So all you would get is, as discowhite posted, a very slight increase in piston temperature and no likely harm.

My old subaru 1800 used to diesel quite happily on 100% unleaded when it was a bit warm. Unfortunately the engine would run the wrong way. - 4 reverse gears and 1 forward gear and hard to switch off :? .
