I'm running Philips x-treme +130's and I haven't upgraded the loom yet.
I'd reckon the light isn't far off if not matching my old Cibie Z beams and 100w globes and relays in the Defender.

Very nice Trout. Cheers
Since we all luv pic`s and bragging [tonguewink]
Nice mate. We all have great looking spotties (...ohh...and the trucks hanging off them aren't bad either).
Cheers
Our work cars come with night stalkers fitted, seem an OK light and from memory will meet the 200mm requirement.
Colour is fine. They just look bright white. Helps to see the road lines further into the distance.
A new annoyance now too is that driving the work trucks, wayyy too yellow and dingy dim.
Brother has a pair of blue-ish coloured halogen H4's. Not sure exact models of his globes, but they have the blue filter overt the bulb glass, something like the +30's.
Those look a bit too blue/green compared to the Ultinons.
But then whilst in isolation the Ultinons "look white", when I use my LED bar, the Ultinons seem to take on a slight green cast to them. And that's because the LED bar seems to have a more blue tint compared to the Ultinons.
When sitting next to another car(eg. at lights) at night, and it has halogens, the difference is very obvious in terms of brightness and clarity. What I mean by clarity are things like contrast, the contrast between white road lines and the black roads.
Much better with the LEDs than with halogens .. etc.
A note too tho: I much prefer harsher white light than warmer soft light. At home now I changed all my energy savers globes to LED globes and, from memory, I think the lowest K value globes I'd found is about 5000K, most at 5500K and even 6000K ie. all cool whites.
It's just my preference, and primarily I prefer the colour and contrast it provides(ie. easier to read text).
Since adding a lightbar I haven't used my Lightforce spotties. I may remove them.
