    Fuel Line Noise D2 V8

    Hi all,
    Noticed what I think is a fuel line noise in my sons D2 V8. Initially I thought fuel pump, bu it appears to be when not under load and sound like fuel return making the noise. Anyone had similar.
    2011 Discovery 4 TDV6
    2009 DRZ400E Suzuki
    1956 & 1961 P4 Rover (project)
    1976 SS Torana (project - all cash donations or parts accepted)
    2003 WK Holden Statesman
    Departed
    2000 Defender Extreme: Shrek (but only to son)
    84 RR (Gone) 97 Tdi Disco (Gone)
    98 Ducati 900SS Gone & Missed

    and sound like fuel return making the noise. Anyone had similar.
    There is no fuel return in a D2 V8. the regulator is in the tank and the fuel goes one way only to the rail.
    Maybe the fuel line is touching somewhere it shouldn't.

    I've heard a few d2 pumps get very noisy when the engine is using little fuel. New pump assembly recommended, see Roverlord or similar.

    I do have a spare pump so may change it out.
