    Sway bars...

    Is my passenger side sway bar mount bent :?: certainly looks like it, but don't have another disco to compare it too !!

    If it is bent, god knows how i did it without bending anything else !!

    yep its bent!
    should bend back easy with a big hammer. i think they
    were the only thing i didnt hit under discowhite.

    I've done that too.

    They heated mine up with the oxy and then gave it a whack with a <span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">large</span> Russian screwdriver <span style="font-size:36pt;line-height:100%">(hammer)</span>

    Think I'll just pull the front sway bars off the front for now, until i get it fixed, think it is causing the steering to pull left sometimes.

    Gday Matt,

    Although I havent bent mine yet, I welded in some trianglular braces for this very reason to stiffen them up.

    Yes Looks like mine,
    I hit mine back with a big hammer and the welds started to let go

    did the same to mine off road a few years ago so i took the sway bars out and now it dosn't matter that they are both flat
