The unit I use is also Bosch,

    P/N 0 281 002 244

I generally suggest that one as I know all the settings when I'm calibrating the map for it, and I'm lazy and don't wanna work the others out!

Although not that hard to calculate.

    About $184 AU

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers

And I can sympathize with that, Jack of it all ATM, but what can you do...

    Ok.

I'll try and be really clear as this was concerning me as well back in the day..

The part number I posted looks slightly bigger than the original L/R item.
I was upset when it first arrived as I was sure it wouldn't fit.
Despite this I gave it a go, and yes the probe and O ring fit into the aperture in the manifold, both bolts can be used to hold it in (although the holes are not exactly central like the original) and the plug on the loom will fit directly back on, no physical modification required.

You will DEFINITELY however need to change the sensor calibrations in the engine ecu, as it's pressure readings will be miles out, but other than that it's a direct swap, and can measure pressure far in excess of anything you would want to have with a td5 (I have had mine out to well over 2 bar boost)

And from memory the temp sensor component of the sensor reads correct straight out of the box.

    Cheers

Thank you Sir... i'm aware about calibrations in the fuel map, my only concern was the physical fit and as long you confirmed it fits i'm OK . Cheers

I got mine from a seller in the UK off ebay. I'll try and find the link for you. I've been following your build. It's coming along nicely. TD5 updated MAP sensor - anyone using? Next time you go to toolangi I wouldn't mind tagging along. I'd like to see the power difference.

The original one I posted is fine and usually a bit cheaper, and I doubt anyone is using the extra .5 bar!

But both should fit ok, and both will require a remap from what I could see just quickly.

A lot of parts have become hard to get/very expensive.

There is an Aussie crew that sells an aftermarket copy of the Bosch 3.5 bar that is reasonably priced, but I haven't checked it out .... So YMMV based on my cheap MAF explorations.

    Cheers
