Question Td5 - can another tuner modify someone elses remap?

Not sure if this is a daft question or over simplifying it all, but can another tuner modify someone else's remap tune?

The reason I'm asking is that I have a TD5Inside remap and am currently experiencing issues with the MAF/MAP readings (check out IRB Developments Td5 Dual/Two Channel Turbo Booster Box adjustable tuning instructio? and/or Increased power TD5's - what have you done to solve the MAF issues? for further discussion and details). Jose from TD5Inside is a very busy guy and whilst he does fantastic work, he's bloody hard to lock down for assistance in a timely manner. I've got a trip away with friends coming up soon and if I can't get this resolved then the Disco will have to stay home and I'll be riding shotgun in someone else's car instead which would be disappointing. I'm therefore wondering if I could read the current remap from my ECU using the Nanocom Evolution and then find another tuner who could apply a software clamp for the MAF and MAP onto this. My reason for this instead of a complete new remap is 1. I've been very happy with the current tunes performance and stress levels on the vehicle since working with Jose six years ago to refine it, and 2. hoping it might be a cheaper route to adjust the current tune than an entire repurchase...

Are the files .map or .tun?
If they were map files you could probably use the files Paul sells and do the changes yourself

The Nanocom Evolution reads the ECU MAP and saves it onto the SD Card in .map format.

Any link to what you've mentioned about Paul selling something that I can use to do the change?

Cheers, some great info on there and very enlightening on the developments and advancements that Paul has made in understanding the Td5 tunes and what can be modified. Beyond my current available time though to start applying and doing myself but definitely I think the direction that I need to go to properly resolve my issue.

I not sure that it will go far enough without different sensors though

It shouldn't be too hard to source a Bosch 0 281 002 244 unit if a person modifying the MAP can make that work in it I can swap the MAP over to the uprated version.

I'm not aware of their being an uprated version of the MAF sensor?
