Up for new brakes on my 2013 Defender

    Hi everyone,

    I drive a 2013 Defender 110 2.2 station wagon. ODO 75K

I have changed my rear brakes and went with non-genuine at about 60-65K with Mintex or Bendix from memory will need to check that with the mechanic, per their recommendation. From day one, they have been awful for squeal especially in reverse, still waiting for them to "bed in" as the mechanic put it....

What are other peoples recommendations? The front are up for doing and i am considering having the rear re done as well.

I am happy to go with good quality after market as long as it is as good or better than genuine. What sites do people buy their parts from?

Thanks in advance for your ideas

I had mintex on the rear of my wife's fl2 and couldn't stop them from squeeling. Put ferodo on it been quite ever since. Will only use ferodo now

I've used Mintex for years now with no squealing. They seem to grip more the hotter they get.

    Fantastic price from Paddocks UK.
